Big Orbit announces the launch of Flash animation series "It's Romeo's World"

Toronto, ON - January 19, 2009 - Big Orbit, the Toronto-based production company specializing in media for youth, announced today the launch of a new animated interstitial series produced for TVOntario, Canada's premier educational broadcaster. "It's Romeo's World", stars teen girl Zadie, her outspoken dog, Romeo, and enlightened pet gecko, Yuki. The 1- to 2-minute long episodes explore subjects related to the trials and tribulations of growing up. The trio discuss, dispute, and laugh through training bra troubles, zit angst, school life, home life, the dating scene and much more. "It's Romeo's World" will be seen on TVO's popular teen series "VOX", currently broadcast within the TVOntario viewing area Sunday nights at 7 pm.

With "It's Romeo's World" Big Orbit applied its expertise in Flash technology and the youth market to create an animated series that can be viewed both on television and on the web. "Our team had a lot of fun designing Zadie and her friends," says Big Orbit Managing Director Sean Bittle, "and we're very excited about the opportunities inherent in both media.
