Discussing, let alone planning any type of career development, is usually not a high priority for students 14 - 18 years of age. Yet, the potential benefits of introducing and educating youth about career planning was the challenge facing Junior Achievement Canada (JACan) and the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education (CFEE).
MyLife is an on-line interactive career and life portfolio resource designed to assist youth in building their own successful futures. In collaboration with JACan and CFEE, Big Orbit utilized ReactorzTM, our national youth advisory community, to conduct concept research, content validation and iterative application testing. Qualitative research methodologies included surveys, idea generation chat sessions and face-to face focus group testing of content. Specific research goals included competitive identification and analysis, audience definition, branding and content.
